Welcome to Sheffield Markets
Sheffield has held markets for over 700 years and presently Sheffield Markets hosts a variety of indoor, outdoor and specialist markets. You can purchase a huge variety of fresh foods including meat, fish, fruit & vegetables; browse the large selection of clothing, cosmetics and household supplies all in one place.
As part of Sheffield City Council, Sheffield Markets operates markets all over Sheffield sometimes as part of an event, e.g. the Craft market at the Fright Night event, and sometimes purely a market, e.g. Castle Market & The Moor market. We aim to make our markets accessible and appealing to everyone which is why the product offered by our market traders varies depending on where they trade. We are also proud that our markets offer excellent value for money to customers which is why many of them return time after time.
All of the traders within Sheffield Markets have adopted the Markets Charter so that customers can shop with total confidence. If you would like further information on this Charter, please contact Sheffield Markets on 0114 2735281 and we will happily send it to you.
At present, Sheffield Markets operates markets in Sheffield City Centre, Crystal Peaks Shopping Centre and Stocksbridge.
